 County Fair:  Pageants 2011
Miss Amelia County Fair

The pageant will be held this year on Wednesday, September 7.

There Will be Four Contests:
Tiny Miss Amelia County Fair Ages 5 and 6
Little Miss Amelia County Fair Ages 7 to 11
Junior Miss Amelia County Fair Ages 12 to 15
Miss Amelia County Fair Ages 16 to 21
   
There Will be Prizes:
Tiny, Little, and Junior Miss Amelia County Fair:
Savings Bond
Crown
Flowers
Sash
   
Miss Amelia County Fair: As above and a $200.00 scholarship
Miss Amelia County Fair First Runner Up: As above and a $100.00 scholarship
   
Girls will be judged on poise, appearance, and their answers to questions that will be asked on stage. Contestants for Miss Amelia County Fair will also give a two minute speech on a topic of their choice to the judges and audience. The speaker may use note cards but the speech may not be read.

Entry forms may be obtained at the offices of the Amelia Monitor. Entry submissions for Miss Amelia County Fair must include:

Your favorite hobbies, sports, interests and pastimes.
Your favorite school subjects.
What you would like to do following high school.
Your accomplishments or activities that make you happy.
How you have, or will, celebrate Amelia County's 275th birthday.
Who you admire most in the world and why.

Completed entry forms must be turned-in to the offices of the Amelia Monitor.
