Compete in the second annual Scarecrow
Contest!
Anyone can enter; individuals, groups,
businesses and non-profit organizations. This is a great opportunity
to promote your school, business, organization, or yourself.
There are two categories: Traditional and
Whimsical. Scarecrows in the traditional category are expected to
be like the ones we've seen for generations doing their job in fields
and gardens. They should be created from traditional materials and
be ready to stick outside and start scaring crows. Whimsical scarecrows,
on the other hand, can be one or more characters made of any material.
They might even be too fussy to step one foot outside themselves,
if they have a foot!
There will be three prizes; first will
be valued at $25.00, second will be valued at $15.00, and third
will be valued at $10.00. But it's not about the prizes, it's about
fun and having the opportunity to shine in your community.
